Vital Information

A Preferential Booking Period is available for renewing My Personal Seat and Opening Night Premium Package Season Ticket Holders until Friday 23 October 2009. After the preferential booking period closes, all Season Tickets are processed in order of receipt of booking, with priority seating closing when single tickets go on sale on Monday 25 January 2010. Season Tickets are on sale until 26 June 2010.

Concession are available to Full-time Students, Pensioners, Health Care Card Holders, Carer Business Discount Card Holders and Government Seniors Card Holders. Concession does not apply to National Seniors members.

Refunds – all Season Tickets are non-refundable once the 2009 Season commences. Season Tickets cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer, discount or promotion.

Ticket exchanges are available only to Season Ticket Holders for another performance (of the same play). Subject to availability. If your plans change, you are required to mail or present your tickets to the Box Office at least 48 hours prior to your ticketed performance, subject to availability. Exchanges can not be done via phone or email. Each exchange costs $3.30 per ticket (incl. GST). An upgrade fee applies when exchanging from a preview or matinee performance to an evening performance.

Missed Performance – as a Season Ticket Holder, if you miss your performance or can't get your exchange in on time, you can purchase tickets at a special $25 price (subject to availability).

Special requests

Season Ticket Holders wishing to be seated with a friend must send in their Booking Forms together and also make mention of this in the Going with a Friend section on the Booking Form. We will do our best to maintain your current seating if you add extra members to your group.

Wheelchair access and facilities are available at all theatres. Let us know your needs in the Special Seating Requests section of the Booking Form.

Hearing Enhancement Systems (Sennheiser Infra-Red Sound Reinforcement System) are available in both the Cremorne Theatre and Playhouse venues. It can be attached to an existing hearing aid or patrons without hearing aids can use headsets provided. The system is free to book and works from all seats within the venue. Prior notice is required if you require this service, so please advise us when you purchase your tickets.

Sunshine Coast Season Ticket Holders have the option of pre-booking into one of five coaches that attend each of Queensland Theatre Company’s productions. These coaches pick people up from various stops between Noosa and Caloundra for either the Wednesday preview (Caloundra), the first Wednesday matinee (Buderim & Kawana) or second Wednesday matinee (Noosa & Caloundra). Please enquire at time of booking. (Bookings must be received by 28 November 2008 to guarantee a seat on the bus)

Preview performances are run before an audience prior to opening night. The director may tweak or make changes during the performance.

Free for Queensland Theatre Company Season Ticket holders, $6.50 for General Public.

There is no need to book. Venue opens at 5.45pm.

Your Season Ticket is a convenient, wallet-sized plastic card, personalised with all your performance details. You will receive your Season Ticket, benefits and information in the mail from late January 2009.
